Important Notes:
- When applying combined antifungal/anti-inflammatory cream to areas of inflamed nappy rash, the skin should be left open to the air after application for as long as possible. Immediate occlusion of the treated skin under a nappy may increase absorption of the topical steroid
- Clotrimazole hydrocortisone is contraindicated for treatment of the eyelids, face, mouth or mucous membranes
- Oral thrush requires alternative appropriate treatment
